On my unit, there is also a hot spot near the UGEE logo but that can be alleviated if you take constant breaks during long sessions of drawing and turn the monitor off. (I don't remember where I got it, but it was somewhere on DeviantArt) Paint tool Sai 2 runs normally though, so you can legally buy it and have a nice experience. I got a chinese bootleg of the software that uses the most current of the wintab drivers.

that supports the latest version of WINTAB (The drivers used) Paint tool sai was a bit weird since it was at it's final version. The gist of things was that you HAVE to get the new version of your art software like the new Photoshop CC 2017 or Animate CC etc. There was nothing wrong with the drivers itself, but rather the software I was using couldn't use the current drivers I had. I was outraged by this at first, but it's true. I called the Ugee support team and they tried to assist me, and told me that there was nothing wrong with the drivers I had.
(Paint tool Sai 1.2.5 and Photoshop Cs6, CSP EX) I employed a temporary fix by deleting and reinstalling the drivers which would let the computer work for a day and then revert back to an unresponsive experience with any software after a restart.
After experimentation, I came to the conclusion that the software did not like my drivers. After turning on my computer again, the programs I had used did not work with the tablet anymore. The first day of using it, I had no problems, as I had deleted all previous drivers and installed the latest ones. I found this pen display going for cheap on a sale, so I decided to buy it.
